Construction output contracted for the second consecutive period in the three-month on three-month time series, decreasing by 2.5% in April 2018. <\/p>\n<p>In April 2018, despite continuing to fall in the three-month on three-month time series, construction output grew month-on-month, increasing by 2.5%. <\/p>\n<p>Compared with April 2017, construction output was up 3.3% after adjustment for calendar effect differences. <\/p>\n<p>During the first four months of this year, production in construction index rose by 0.6% comparing to the same period in 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The production in construction index provides monthly statistics on output in the sector, referring not only to all new work, but also to repair and maintenance data.
